Aylesford Men's Retreat

Today, a group of men from the parish spent a Day of Recollection at Aylesford. After beginning with Holy Mass in the Cloister Chapel, Fr Finigan gave a meditation on the first three sorrows of Mary. The Friars provided a wholesome lunch in the Pilgrims Hall, after which the men were guided in a meditation onthe last four sorrows of Mary. The day concluded with Benediction in the Choir Chapel and a short tour of the relic chapel and the chapels to the English Martyrs and the Carmelite saints.

NB - any family can visit Aylesford Priory, for example, on a Sunday afternoon. The chapels, the tea room and the excellent bookshop are open to visitors.

The day will give us time for reflection and an opportunity to ask Father Finigan questions. Cost £20 including tea/coffee and lunch. Transport is not provided but there will be an opportunity to car share. Please put your names on the list in the porch or contact Trefor Bevan
